An important note to parents about the LOL Kids Forum:

The LOL Kids Forum is a place for children of all ages who are being instructed in Lifestyle of Learning principles to share projects, collections and learning experiences. Photos, videos, and descriptions of finished projects or projects in progress are encouraged so that kids can develop their communication skills for presentation, as well as be inspired by the creativity of others.

Our team of moderators would like to make the LOL Kids forum as safe as possible for the family. For this reason, we have taken the following precautions:

• The chat functions, e-mail functions, and private message functions of this forum have been shut off.
• Kids cannot be contacted personally through this forum.
• Only registered members are permitted to post to this forum.
• Chit-chat (common to social networking sites) gives the false impression that relationships are being formed, but will not be permitted here.
• Mom's e-mail address will be required for participants under 18 years of age.
• Children's birthdates are requested in their profiles in order for the software to determine and display their age. Birthdates will not be displayed.

CAUTION—Parents need to be aware however that there are aspects of this forum that are beyond our control, and we strongly recommend that you oversee your children's participation on this forum. Videos and photos being posted by other members, while appropriate for this forum, may not be entirely appropriate when following their links. For instance, if your child follows a link to a video on the forum that is originally posted on youtube, they will then have access to all the other videos on youtube. Or if your child follows a link to a personal blog of another older member that contains pictures of their projects, your child will then have access to all the other links and communications on that blog. Please watch over your children, because these matters are out of our control.
